  • Flammable solids like batteries, matches or firelighters
  • Flammable liquids like petrol and paints and thinners
  • Flammable gas like aerosols, CO2 bombs, gas cylinders & lighter fuel
  • Radioactive materials, better leave that to Koeberg
  • Oxcidizing substances like chlorine and peroxides
  • Corrosives like batteries, acids and thermometers
  • Poisons like pesticides and rat poison or resin
  • Others like dry ice, petrol engines or magnetized materials

The most relevant dangerous goods when it comes to bicycles

Mainly two very important items:

  • CO2 bombs
  • E-bike batteries

The former, CO2 cannisters (don’t be that person that shouts BOMB! at the airport), ie those small cartridges that usually come in 16g or 25g or 40g that can be used to quickly inflate your bicycles tyres. // And the latter is the other obvious dangerous good with respect to bicycles: E-bike batteries.
