Start them young: I was super impressed with this young lad!
Last week sometime my phone rang, and I heard I young voice enquiring about bicycle transport, what we do. I explained the ins and outs and immediately thought that this might be our youngest customer booking his own bicycle transport yet. And here we are, having collected his new dream machine from the previous owner on the far side of the country and currently sending it to JACK – who just turned 14! I told my own son about this and asked Jack Raphaely Ardavanis if I could share his story. Of course! See below and why we love to start them young.
In his own words
I started mountain biking back in 2023, mostly just riding to school and messing around for fun. Then I stopped for about two years, but recently I got back into it—and now I’m completely hooked. I ride almost every day with my friends, and I love the mix of hanging out, having fun, and sending it down some tough trails.
I’m super excited because I’m getting my dream bike soon—a YT Capra enduro bike—and I honestly can’t wait to ride it. Even better, I’m about to ride with my idol, Batman Trails, who’s the reason I got into mountain biking in the first place. When I’m older, I want to be either a pilot or a pro mountain biker. Either way, I just want to keep doing what I love!
