I want to list the 2025 edition of the Tourdeboland cycle tour that circumnavigates the Boland region on a bicycle. But which South African race entry portals should I consider? Tourdeboland on BIKEHUB
Bikehub is the biggest bicycle hub in the country, and it is a sensible first stop. But do they offer an entry portal or is it just a paid marketing tool? Let’s find out. I’m expecting maybe a free classifieds listing, with paid-for options to promote the Tourdeboland on Bikehub South Africa. And maybe they even have a newsletter option or social media extensions. Whichever way we choose to go, there are sure to be a few eyes spotting the 10th anniversary of the Tourdeboland in 2025. 32k followers.
Tourdeboland on ENTRYNINJA
Listing the Tourdeboland on Entryninja is also a no-brainer as we already use them for Audax (welcome to long distance cycling in South Africa) events and it works like a charm. Bushy is always ready to assist and their setup and race organiser interface is sleek and easy to use. We never really explored options to market the Audax riders but I am very interested in seeing what they can offer for marketing the Tourdeboland on Entryninja. Let’s go. 23k followers.
Tourdeboland on CYCLOTOURISM
CSA as in Cycling South Africa or team Cyclotourism South Africa? You decide. Cyclotourism is our very own portal and marketing tool and whether this remains limited to just our own cycle tours or becomes an event aggregator such as #bicyclecouriers is for transport, remains to bee seen. But for now you can find all the info for the Tourdeboland, Weskustoer and Bolandcycletour on the Cyclotourism website and even enter directly on there. Off course. And brand new.
Tourdeboland on ENTERONLINE
Enteronline from Entrytime rings a bell from way-back-when and I presume this is the race entry portal by the team that did event timing in years gone by. In fact, they still use the same entrytime domain name for the event entry portal. There is not a massive selection of events listed at the moment and the Tourdeboland could be a great addition to what they have on offer. But they do seem to have a very decent social media following and this might be reason enough to partner with them. Which we intend to do. I expect to see the Tourdeboland listed on the Entrytime Enteronline portal sooner rather than later. And will share the link when it is there. 18k followers.
Tourdeboland on EASYREG
With the FNB Wines2Whales, ISUZU IRONMAN®, the SPAR open water swim and other tri and outdoor events listed on Easyreg, it seems that the Tourdeboland will be in good company when featured here. I can’t wait to go and cheer on mates and fellow rider on the W2W that started today and runs until the racing snakes set off next Friday. And by the same token I connect wait to see what the Tourdeboland entries do on Easyreg. Let’s see where this goes. Ours is a premium cycle tour, after all.
Tourdeboland on QUICKET
Quicket is great for ticketing and list many events, much more than just cycling. They were one of the pioneers in the industry and have been doing what they are doing for a very long time. And paired with their sleek interface and seemingly large number of eyes on their website it makes sense for us to consider listing the Tourdeboland on Quicket as well. From what I can remember costs are also in line with other similar providers. 62k followers.
Tourdeboland on RACESPACE
Racespace is a new one for me and I have seen their app and online portal before. And we’ve also received mails from them asking if we have events to list before, if I remember correctly. Either way, with their own dedicated iOS and Android app I am very keen to see how this works and whether there would be any entries forthcoming for the Tourdeboland in 2025. Watch this (race)space.
