Cycling through Christmas: Santa spotted on a bicycle!

Of course, that’s how the cycling gifts arrive under the Christmas trees!

Cycling before and after Christmas? Sunny South Africa lends itself to the best cycling around over the festive season. And his year, same as before, is no exception. Getting your bicycle down to the coast is as easy as it can be with bicycle couriers. Simply drop off your bike at your nearest friendly local bicycle shop. For them to box. And we collect directly from them when ready. To bring your bicycle down to you favourite holiday destination. Easy does it!

Where are we cycling this Christmas? SA migrating to the coast for December 2024

Leading up to the Christmas cycling trips. Oh wow – what a busy 2 weeks it has been. Now that the whole of JHB migrated to the coast (we sent down many bikes to popular ocean holidays spots on the South African coastline this year again) we might take a small breather during Christmas week. But also, only because XMAS falls right in the middle of the week this year. Boxing day is a holiday, but we can collect bicycles again in some parts on Friday the 27 December onwards. Where are you cycling this December holiday? I’m picking the usual short routes around Struisbaai and the Southern Tip of Africa. Then head for the beaches in Seaview and on the familiar IRONMAN® PE route. Followed by some MTB around the Knysna heads when in Buffelsbaai. Pure bliss!

And where are we cycling after Christmas? Back again after the holidays in January 2025

After Christmas the cycling continues! Yes, we collect every single weekday from all across the country. But do have some space constraints in remote areas during Christmas week. And after the relatively short break things are back to normal and busy again. As the migration back to the big city life happens. And everyone is hopefully fit as a fiddle for 2025 and whatever the new year may bring. I sincerely hope you get to do a lot of cycling this holiday. Maybe even a STRAVA festive XMAS to NY challenge.

Let’s go!
