FLOODING and service interruptions in CPT

Everything was collected today but the flooding may and will cause service interruptions

I have never seen such a consistently high rainfall prediction before for Stellenbosch and surrounding areas on YR.no and eve though the initial 250mm+ predictions came down to 150mms it is still an enormous amount of water. That being said, all out boxed bicycle have been collected in Stellenbosch and the CPT are today – but getting them delivered on the long-haul fleet across the country might be difficult. Statement on service interruptions below.

What causes the service interruptions?

We would like to inform you that due to the storms & high rains experienced in the Western Cape over this past weekend which has caused flooding in various area, we may experience delays in scheduled deliveries and collections. This extends from Cape Town up to George & surrounds as has been covered in the media as well.

The safety of our staff and the integrity of your goods remain our top priorities, and we aim to minimize the impact of these unforeseen circumstances. However, certain routes and access points remain affected, which may lead to temporary service interruptions.
