XMAS is coming and the December holidays are fast approaching. This is how we at bicycle couriers ensure we are ready to send hundreds of bicycle this festive period. We are pleased to inform you that we are well-prepared for the upcoming 2025 peak season volumes, thanks to a series of strategic initiatives and operational enhancements designed to send your bicycles on time during this critical period. Forecasting Modelling Tool
We have successfully implemented a forecasting tool that leverages historical data and customer input to accurately anticipate volume flows. Here we can see exactly what we did for the OCT NOV DEC JAN holiday period during the previous 3 financial years and what ex aim for this year.
Scalable Operational Infrastructure
Based on forecasted volumes, we have planned our infrastructure to flex with demand spikes—this includes additional vehicles and trained personnel to ensure seamless service delivery. And with well over a dozen different service providers, we do least cost routing and efficient bicycle courier aggregator services in Southern Africa. Exactly what you would expect for someone preparing for the busiest time of the year to send bicycles from (A) to (B).
Increased Hub Capacity
From October to January, additional vehicles will be stationed at our three major hubs, allowing us to scale capacity dynamically as needed. And a s quick reminder, we see the following areas as main centers. Whether it falls under #bicyclecouriers Peak Season period or otherwise. Cape Town & Paarl. Stellenbosch & Somerset West. George, PE & East London. Durban & Pietermaritzburg. Johannesburg & Pretoria. Nelspruit & Polokwane & Bloemfontein. Anywhere else is a remote area.
