Yes we send boxed bicycles. But we also send MOTORBIKES in South Africa. Twice a week, on most routes. As depicted in our major hub route map. And for more clarity, here are some additional waypoints. For sending motorbikes to destinations other than CPT, JHB/PTA and DBN/PMB as already mentioned. Here we go, grouped by province. Enjoy!

GAUTENG motorbike transport routes

Carletonville 2499 – send you MBK to the world’s deepest goldmine! Carletonville is a town in Gauteng and the seat of the Merafong City Local Municipality in the West Rand District Municipality in Gauteng, South Africa, just north of the richest gold-mining area in the world. At 3,749 m, Western Deep Levels holds the record for the world’s deepest gold mine.

Springs 1559 – send you MBK to Wimpie’s hometown! Springs is a former independent city that is now part of the City of Ekurhuleni, based in the east of Johannesburg, in Gauteng Province, South Africa. It lies 50 km east of Johannesburg and 72 km southeast from Pretoria.

Bronkhorstspruit 1020 – send your MBK to the Battle of Bronkhorstspruit! It also served as a major event site during the First Boer War. Bronkhorstspruit is a town 50 km east of Pretoria, along the N4 highway towards eMalahleni. It also includes three townships called Zithobeni, Rethabiseng and Ekangala.

Nigel 1491 – send your MBK to the vetkoepaleis! Nigel is famous for being a South African town known for its history as a gold mining center and its later development into a major industrial hub.  Sir Walter Scott’s novel “The Fortunes of Nigel,” which inspired the town’s name.

Vereeniging 1930 – send your MBK to the Kliprivier/Vaalrivier! Vereeniging is a city located in the south of Gauteng, situated where the Klip River empties into the northern loop of the Vaal River. It is also one of the constituent parts of the Vaal Triangle region and was formerly situated in the Transvaal province.

Vanderbijlpark 1911 – send your MBK to Sedibeng! Vanderbijlpark is an industrial city with approximately 95,000 inhabitants, situated on the Vaal River in the south of Gauteng province, South Africa. The city is named after Hendrik van der Bijl, an electrical engineer and industrialist.

MPUMALANGA motorbike transport routes

Nelspruit 1200 – send your MBK to the Kruger National Park! Mbombela, formerly Nelspruit, is the capital of South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province. It’s a gateway to Kruger National Park, home to elephants, zebras, rhinos and other wildlife. The city’s Lowveld National Botanical Garden features a man-made rainforest. Northwest are the prehistoric Sudwala Caves, with unusual rock formations.

Delmas 2110 – send your MBK with Battery9 to Lucy from the steakhouse in Delmas! Delmas is a small maize farming town situated east of Johannesburg in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The town is located some 19 km north-east of Springs and 73 km south-east of Pretoria.

NORTHWEST motorbike transport routes

Klerksdorp 2570 – send your MBK to the first stock exchange in the region! Located in the North West Province, South Africa. Klerksdorp is located 165 km southeast of Mahikeng, the provincial capital. Klerksdorp was also the first capital of the then Transvaal Republic and used to be the home of the first Stock Exchange in the region.

Potchefstroom 2520 – send your MBK to POTCH! Potchefstroom, colloquially known as Potch, is an academic city in the North West Province of South Africa. It hosts the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University. Potchefstroom is on the Mooirivier, roughly 120 km west-southwest of Johannesburg and 45 km east-northeast of Klerksdorp.

Rustenburg 0300 – send your MBK to Sun City! Rustenburg is famous for being the “Platinum City” due to the extensive platinum mining in the area, and it is also known for its natural beauty. Just look at the Kgaswane Mountain Reserve. The town is also a hub for agriculture and tourism, like the Sun City Resort and Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

FREE STATE motorbike transport routes

Bloemfontein 9300 – send your MBK to the city of roses! Bloemfontein is popularly and poetically known as “the city of roses” for its abundance and annual rose festival. The city is situated in the middle of the country; hence it is referred to as “Central South Africa”. It is often, and has been traditionally, referred to as the country’s “judicial capital”.

Welkom 9460 – send your MBK to the heartiest welcome in SA! Welkom is a city in the Free State province of South Africa, located about 140 kilometres northeast of Bloemfontein, the provincial capital. Also known as Circle City, City Within A Garden, Mvela and Matjhabeng.

NORTHERN CAPE motorbike transport routes

Kimberley 8301 – send your MBK to die GAT! Kimberley is the capital city of South Africa’s Northern Cape Province. It’s known for its 19th-century diamond mines, like the deep, hand-dug Big Hole. Nearby, the Kimberley Mine Museum is a re-creation of the town in its heyday, and displays jewellery and uncut diamonds.

EASTERN CAPE motorbike transport routes

Port Elizabeth 6001 – send your MBK to the friendly city! Port Elizabeth is a city on Algoa Bay in South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province. A major port, it’s also known for its numerous beaches. Coastal boat tours spot whales and rare seabirds, while wildlife reserves outside the metropolitan area are home to elephants, rhinos and other big game.

St Francis Bay 6312 – send your MBK to the ARWC’s! where we collected for the adventure racing world championship before. St Francis Bay is a holiday town in Sarah Baartman District Municipality in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, roughly one hour’s drive from Gqeberha.

Jeffriesbaai 6330 – send your MBK to Kouga! Jeffriesbaai, also known as Jeffreys Bay or JBay, is particularly famous for consistent waves, especially during the winter months (May to September) when strong winds create good conditions for surfing. The town also boasts a shell museum, one of the largest in the world, with over 600 types of shells.

GARDEN ROUTE motorbike transport routes

George 6629 – send your MBK to Montagu pass! George is a city in South Africa’s Western Cape, on a coastal stretch known as the Garden Route. It’s known for its golf courses and the George Museum, which has exhibits on the local timber industry. The Seven Passes road to Knysna town winds through the Outeniqua Mountains.

Knysna 6570 – send your MBK to the Knysna seahorse! Knysna is a town with 76,150 inhabitants in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is one of the destinations on the loosely defined Garden Route tourist route. Find it 60 kilometres east of the city of George on the N2 highway. And 33 kilometres west of the Plettenberg Bay on the same road.

Plettenberg bay 6600 – send your MBK to the Beacon Isle! Plettenberg Bay is a seaside town on the Garden Route in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. The sandy Central Beach and Lookout Beach both have surf breaks. To the south, Robberg Nature Reserve is a rocky peninsula with trails and the Stone Age Nelson Bay Caves. Whales come near the coast in migration season.

WESTERN CAPE motorbike transport routes

Stellenbosch 7600 – send you MBK to the winelands! Stellenbosch is a university town in South Africa’s Western Cape province. It’s surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. Find oak-shaded streets are lined with cafes, boutiques and art galleries.

Paarl 7646 – send your MBK to the Taalmonument! Paarl is a city with 294,457 inhabitants in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is the largest city in the Cape Winelands. Due to the growth of the Mbekweni township, it is now a de facto urban unit with Wellington.

Somerset West 7130 – send your MBK to Lourensford! Somerset West is a town in the Western Cape, South Africa. Organisationally and administratively it is included in the City of Cape Town metropolitan municipality Eastern Suburbs zone. The vehicle registration code for Somerset West is CFM.
