A quick recap on our routes for sending a MOTORBIKE
YES! We can send your motorbike across SA. Not exactly like we send bicycles. But the same principle. We do have set routes for sending motorbikes. As broadly mentioned below. And yes, there are exceptions. For which we invite you to contact us for pricing and timing. But for the main part, these are our motorbike transport depots and routes for South Africa. And we run the routes twice a week. So, there is ample opportunity to send your motorbike. But other than bicycles, space is limited, and it fills up fast, so last-minute bookings won’t always be possible. Please book in advance, if you can 😊
We have three main routes, in-between:
- CPT—Cape Town and Garden Route
- JHB—Johannesburg and Pretoria
- DBN—Durban via Pietermaritzburg

CPT: sending a Motorbike to/from CAPE TOWN
Sending a motorbike to and from CPT is quick and easy. And not only Cape Town, But also the Garden route. Including George. And then onto PE, Port Elizabeth. Did you know that Gqeberha was the isiXhosa name for the Baakens River? Anyways, we go there as well. Sometime CPT to JHB straight on the N1. And other times we divert via the N10 to PLZ.
JHB: sending a Motorbike to/from GAUTENG
Welcome to our main center for sending motorbikes. Unlike our head office for sending bicycles, which can only be in 1 place: Stellenbosch. In fact, the JHB and PTA hub is in Centurion, conveniently and practically located between Johannesburg and Pretoria. And yes, this is the busiest one of the lot, as the DBN CPT route’s motorbikes also travel through JHB. Now you know. And more on why below.
DBN: sending a Motorbike to/from DURBAN
Sending a motorbike to and from DNB and PMB is quick and easy and involves the N3. We don’t service East London ourselves, as the Transkei route is one to be avoided for safety reasons. It is a hot potato. But we do know of people who do run the risk and reward and deliver in that area so be sure to ask us if you need that service. T&C’s apply, as always. And when do send MBK’s (motorbikes) from DBN to PE or GRJ or CPT and it goes via our JHB depot. First up, then down, but not straight through the Transkei.
