Ok before we get carried away with the alliteration destination, it doesn’t matter where you’re going in South Africa this holiday – you can now bring along your own bicycle(s). Plural. In fact, bring the whole family’s bicycles as you can get better rates when sending multiple units.

How do I book holiday bike transport in SA?

Right here! And the process is so simple. We send it boxed because it is safer and because it reduces costs. You can box it yourself and we can collect door to door if you want to. But you don’t have to. Most of our customers select the easiest way, which is dropping if off at your local bike shop. Take your fully assembled bicycle in to your LBS and they package for us to collect. And if you don’t know a local bike shop, contact us and we can arrange.

E-bikes are very welcome!

And what about e-bikes? Yes, we know that you cannot fly with your e-bike battery and that is why our road service is the perfect solution. Tell us where to collect your bike and we’ll do the rest. Need help boxing? Tell us in which area your bicycle is, and we can suggest a solution close by. Book online >> drop or your bike >> they box, and we collect and deliver. Now you don’t have to try and find a rental bike and can have a happy healthy holiday with your very own bicycle.

What does it cost?

At current main center rates are around R699 from a shop or R749 door to door and remote areas are around R999. Ps, main centers are defined as CPT, Paarl, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, George, PE, East London, DBN, PMB, BFN, JHB, PTA, Nelspruit, Polokwane, BFN. Everything else is a remote area, so mostly along the coast, but the good news is that we are doing large volumes over the holidays so can reduce some of the popular coastal deliveries.
