#bicyclecouriers: our most ambitious project yet
We are busy compiling 10 yearsโ worth of experience from sending boxed bicycles all across the country into the single biggest bicycle transport knowledge base in South Africa. With over 200 detailed questions and answers on how to book the best boxed bicycle transport around. It goes beyond just sending boxed bicycles from point (A) to (B). and a worthy most ambitious project for #bicyclecouriers if there ever was one.
Top five things happening at bicycle couriers, behind the scenesโincl. our most ambitious project to date:
- Knowledge base for chatbot, single post circa 20k words (the same as a good novella). This one surely is a lot of fun and definitely keeping us busy. From SEO to AEO and training material for our little digital helper for presales questions as below. so that we can send more boxed bicycles. Told you it is a most ambitious project!
- Implementing said chatbot to ease most presales questions so we can focus on marketing. Because creating waybills is quick and easy and streamlined. And booking collections comes second nature by now. But what still takes up time are those presales questions. And answering the same thing over and over again.
- Contacting 150 bike shops we most often send to and from for a feature and social sharing afterwards. We just love creating original content and writing blog posts. Can you tell? With over 400 and closing in on 500 unique articles we are sitting on a wealth of experience and information regarding bicycle transport in South Africa.
- Race calendar. This is a pet project and something I have been wanting to do for quite some time now. Whether it happens on the #bicyclecouriers website or elsewhere remains to be seen. So many have tried this before. And there is so many incomplete databases around. rather than a single point of contact. But even though the race calendar is fun it is not our main focus or source of new business.
- And it is about time we send out our half year newsletter again, would you agree?
Update: we are halfway through #1 above. Expect the post sometime this week.

Until then, where can we send your boxed bicycle today?
