Bicycle Couriers: We have expanded (again!)

We want to be the best, and therefore we partner with the best.

Here & There & Everywhere 🙂

Our first carrier has 25 branches and 450+ vehicles across Southern Africa, including 4 cross-border countries, and they have been going strong for the last 35 years.

But that is not enough, and we have added another carrier with 700 employees, 210 vehicles, 18 branches, 15 agents (and they do 2.2 million deliveries per year!). Oh, and they were founded even before I was born.

We’ve already had a strong position in the high-volume triangle of JHB & CPT & KZN, but this strengthens our position as a leading South African bike transporter. Now also including the Langekloof, Southern Cape, Karoo, Old Transkei, Springbok and Border regions.

Without further ado, lets explore the new additions to our bicycle courier service network. Bicycle couriers are ready to transport your boxed goods to where it needs to go as quickly and securely as possible.

Bicycle transport to Namibia

From Cape Town to Namibia along the N7, we have branches in Piketberg and Springbok, with an agent in Vredendal. I grew up in Clanwilliam as a primary school child and love the surrounding area — up the Piekenierskloof pass via Citrusdal, through Clanwilliam and on to cold-water swims at Lambertsbaai and kaalvoet rugby in Graafwater. Or visiting family from Vredendal to Vanrhynsdorp. Plus, who can forget the Calvinia vleisfees?

Bicycle transport to Gauteng

From Cape Town along the N1 north we have branches in Worcester and Johannesburg, with agents in De Aar, Noupoort and Colesberg. Bloemfontein seems to become more popular, and north of JHB we service from Pretoria up to Polokwane and beyond. I resided in Benmore Gardens in Sandton for a couple of years, and we have recently had stellar service from the local TREK dealer and concept store, Arch Cycles in Melrose Arch.

Bicycle transport to Port Elizabeth

This is a busy route and with the new IRONMAN® 70.3 in Mossel Bay, we expect even more bicycles going up and down the N2. From Cape Town we have branches in Swellendam, George, Knysna, J-Bay and Port Elizabeth (‘Gebergte’), plus an agent in Kareedouw. This covers the Southern Cape and Garden Route very efficiently. But wait, there’s more.

Bicycle transport to Durban KZN

Continuing with the N2 along the coast from Jeffrey’s Bay and then PE, for the ever-popular IRONMAN® African Championships and the 70.3’s in Buffalo City, East London and Durban, we have branches in all of the above, plus Umtata. Can you say Mkhanda (Grahamstown) the way Zuma sings Nkandla? This completes the coast. Time to head inland.

Bicycle transport via Graaff-Reinet

Taking the N9 from George to Colesberg, we have agents in Aberdeen and Middelburg, plus a branch inbetween at Graaf-Reinet. I’m sure John Swanepoel will be pleased about this, it is about time again for a Karoo Gravel Grinder from MTB Africa.

Bicycle transport via Cradock

Close to Port Elizabeth we also have agents in Kirkwood and Alexandria, and then on the N10 North via Somerset East, Cradock, and Middelburg, then crossing the N1 at Hanover and going all the way to De Aar. Now there are some good hunting opportunities right there!

Bicycle transport around Queenstown

This is an area that I absolutely loved (and sometimes hated, for different reasons) travelling through when going to the Sani2c. I still don’t know all the towns on the N6 off heart and often must refer to a map, which is why we have experts in the area, including Tarkastad, Fort Beaufort, Queenstown, Elliot and the like.

Talk to us!

We are always on the look for new opportunities and love to talk about all things cycling, so if you have an idea or want to explore new possibilities, don’t hesitate to contact us. And who knows where this will lead? Want as jy nie ‘n lyn in die water het nie kan jy nie ‘n vis vang nie.

All work and no play made Jack a dull boy, so its time for some alliteration. Below we have 10 more examples of some of our unique locations, transporting bicycles to and from these South African towns and cities. Where can we send your bicycle today?
