Open a Bicycle Couriers account
Why & how to open an account with #bicyclecouriers? We Keep it simple! The screenshots below will guide you through opening an (online) account with us… but you don’t have to if you don’t want to).
Order online, with or without an account
When ordering or booking your boxed bicycle transport with us, you can check out (that means order and pay online) on our website, either as a guest, or with an account. The benefit of having an account is not having to complete your address details again in future. Because we are so adamant that you will receive a great service that we know we will be your default bicycle courier for next time 😊
Different Payment options
Please note that it remains a pre-paid service, and you can pay either with a credit card or by doing an instant EFT or manual EFT and emailing us the proof to hello@bicyclecouriers.co.za. And if you misquoted your boxed bike dimensions, we may ask for a top-up, ipso facto, in which case you can also pay online or with EFT. Finally, we can FWD you a YOCO credit card payment link if need be (separate from the online portal).
How to register an online account
Find it on bicyclecouriers.co.za
- Open your internet browser
- Google “bicycle couriers”
- Find us right at the top
- Click on the MENU >> ‘where can we send’ >> MY ACC
- Now you can LOGIN or REGISTER
Registration is simple: enter your email address and we will send you a confirmation email which you can click and will bring you back to the website. Pick a password and do save it in your password manager. If you forgot your password you can use your email address to request a new one.
Once you are logged in you can see and do the following
Use the same steps above to navigate to MY ACCOUNT. In here you can see the following. I have used an account with some transactional history below so that you can see what is available. Under MY ACCOUNT you will see the following options on the left-hand side.
The options are:
My Account overviews. Let’s consider them one by one.
#1 Dashboard
What is shown in the WooCommerce client ‘dashboard’? this is your #bicyclecouriers MY ACCOUNT landing page. From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your billing address, and edit your password and account details.
#2 Orders
What is shown in the WooCommerce client ‘orders’ page? Here you see a summary of all your bicycle transport bookings to date and can click on each one for more (ALL) details. Ah. There is a nice order for transporting 60 bicycles at a time below. See, we do not only do ad hoc and once-off transfers 😊
#3 Downloads
What is shown in the WooCommerce client ‘downloads’ page. Here, nothing. Because we don’t offer digital downloads. This would be for eBooks or the like. We only sell drop-shipping-shipping services so there is no need to navigate here.
#4 Address
What is shown on the WooCommerce client ‘address’ page? This is where you can enter or edit your Billing address. This will be used on the checkout page by default. And if you have ordered before this will be the last billing address used (if you have used multiple ones before).
#5 Account details
What is shown on the WooCommerce client ‘account details’ page? Want to leave us a review? Please do. This is where you can edit your display name: This will be how your name will be displayed in the account section and in reviews. And you can change your password. More on that below.
#6 Logout
What happens when you click on ‘logout’ from the WooCommerce my account details page? This is self-explanatory. You log out of the Bicycle Couriers (in this example) website and return to the main login/sign-up screen as below. Good-bye.
#7 My cards
What is shown on the WooCommerce ‘my cards’ page? Here all your saved card details for this online retailer can be seen. I don’t save any card details online so there is no history shown for me here below.
