R349.99 including the box & labour
*Price change. This week. Just as we were praising their low fees. Cyclelab increased the price for boxing a bicycle from R249 to the invoiced amount of R349.99 I received this morning. Which leaves me with a predicament. As we always happily refer customers to Cyclelab for boxing bicycles because of (A) the low fees and (B) quick turnaround time. Now their prices have gone up +40% for boxing. Which leaves only the quick turnaround time. And for many, the fast service would be more than enough reason to still use Cyclelab for boxing bicycles for transport.
But being mostly megastores, there are many more bicycles going in and out and the collection process isn’t always as quick and easy as with your LBS local bicycle shop around the corner. Either way, the choice is yours, because #bicyclecouriers will collect wherever you want us to. Including Cyclelab, which is why we have updated the workshop contact name list below. You can speak to them. They know the drill when it comes to boxing bicycles…
And yes, I shop there myself
Yip, the spring sales and the wide variety and online shopping and those vouchers sent out me for being a good shopper keep me coming back from time to time. And what is that cycling rewards programme from Cyclelab and Morecorp called again? Ah yes, MyCycleLife. MyCycleLife is a first-of-its-kind digital cycle rewards platform built with one thing in mind, cyclists enjoyment. Signup is free, quick and easy. And what’s more, I see I now get rewarded in Rands, for cycling. They link up with your STRAVA account and you get bonuses based on the number of hours spent on your bicycle for the last quarter. Brilliant!
Check it out for yourself.
