As reported by TREAD, Cyclelab is adding two new stores, to bring their total up to 8 stores nationwide. This includes CWC Chris Willemse Cycles in Tygervallei, the newly opened Ballito store in KZN, and the soon-to-come (Q4) store which will be the closest one to #bicyclecouriers and service the winelands from Paarl. Cyclelab stores are open Weekdays and Saturdays from 9am-5pm, and till 2pm on Sundays and public holidays. And this is great, because there are few other bike shops that are open on a Sunday, meaning you can still go for a ride in the morning and then drop off your bicycle at a Cyclelab store to be boxed in the afternoon or on the Monday morning, so we can collect in the afternoon. Easy does it.

Lynwood is the location of Pretoria’s Cyclelab megastore and a popular place for boxing your bicycle in the Jakarandastad/city. Like all other branches the have a quick turnaround time and usually you can take in the bike in the morning and they quickly box it so we can collect it in the afternoon. The first Cyclelab megastore that I can remember and have frequented while we stayed up in Sandton. And still one of our top bicycle collection points in Gauteng. Especially for events like the 947 Ride Joburg cycle races. Just remember to send us a copy of the job number so we can add it onto your waybill for a smooth collection process. How to send your bicycle to/from a Cyclelab store (or any other bicycle shop)
As easy as 1-2-3… book online à drop off the bike à they pack and we collect
- Step 1: book online at #bicyclecouriers. Afterwards we send your online order, together with a copy of the PDF waybill, to the chosen store. So that they can print it out to stick it on the box when done.
- Step 2: take the bike to the store, to the workshop, to box/pack it. Currently Cyclelab asks just R249 for the box and the labour. And tell them that #bicyclecouriers will come to collect…
- Step 3: we will be in touch with the bike shop. And they will let us know when the bicycle is packed and ready for collection. So that we can get it from them and deliver it to your chosen destination. Without the need for the sender to go back and forth with a boxed bike.
PS, this is a great way to send a bicycle when buying or selling, because of 2 reasons. (A) there is an additional set of eyes on the bike that you are buying. And (B) you know that it has been packed professionally.
