Twice in one day: Send your bicycle to Swellendam, Malgas and beyond
Lightning strikes twice? This morning Bram from bicycle rentals asked me from bicycle couriers to send bicycles down to De Hoop nature reserve just outside of Swellendam. And at the same time we are also collecting bikes today for a rider from the French school in JHB that is coming down to the Fish Eagle river bush camp, also below Swellendam and close to De Hoop. Then I remembered all the fun we have had in that part of the world. ie below Swellendam towards Malgas and then the coast line. And here below is why and where you should send your bicycle with bicycle couriers.

SWELLENDAM bicycle transport
SWOLLEN! Send you bicycle to Swellendam for the DC or others. We have had a spectacular outing last time by cycling from Stellenbosch to Swellendam on the Friday on our MTB’s. And on our arrival in Swellendam our road bikes were already waiting for us in our BNB rooms. Sent with #bicyclecouriers off course. So we could do the DC. And then sent back the road bike with bicycle couriers again. And we cycled back to Stellenbosch on MTB’s on the Sunday for a quick 600km weekend. Love it. And you can do the same.

FISH EAGLE RIVER CAMP bicycle transport
FISH! From the FRENCH school in JHB to the FISH eagle river camp between Swellendam and Malgas as for our friend Mr Selles over here. Again. And he loves a spot of adventure racing. Which is what prompted this trip. Fish Eagle River Camp is situated on the banks of the Breede River, just 30 minutes drive from the historical town of Swellendam and only 3 hours from the Cape Town CBD. CRAZY! You have to check this out. my recent or maybe first trip to Malgas was with Danie and Christine to experience the southernmost first growth of SIJNN wines at sijnn.co.za/. David and Rita Trafford discovered the future Sijnn land while on holiday in Malgas in 2000. The soil and landscape reminded them of Portugal and they were immediately intrigued. Did you know the word ‘sijnn’ is derived from the Khoisan word meaning riverbank? And we can send your bicycle there!
