What is COOL RUNNINGS? Cool Runnings is not only SA’s but Africa’s first downhill tobogganing track. Which means you can Go hurtling down a half-pipe in a bobsled, flying through the twists and curves as you race along the 1.25 km track. It’s fun, it’s fast, and it’s safe! The first downhill tobogganing track in Africa, Cool Runnings is a Cape Town-based family park boasting an intricate course of steel tracks and top-notch, wheeled bobsleds. We’ve done it before and we will do it again. So get off your bicycle and grab your kids and go there tomorrow!
What does it cost to go to COOL RUNNINGS?
At the time of writing. The COOL RUNNINGS rides start at only R100 – and the more you ride, the cheaper it gets. It’s also free entry for team-building events, school outings, and birthday and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Kids under the age of 3 are not allowed. What the Toboggel is going on here? See below…
Example Cost
I want to take my two kids for an outing. One aged 6 and the other 9. We have been there before. The wait times can get long. And 5-6 rides each works like a charm. So by far the best value for money package for us the is family 16x deal, where you pay around R1k and get 16 rides to share among all three. And seeing as I still have to go with the little one, the older one can grab an extra ride by himself. 5x for us and 6x for him and everyone is happy. And if you are happy to spend all day in line then the workday R550 day pass is just perfect.
