Figuratively speaking, of course.
Let’s be honest. Nobody’s excited to read Terms & Conditions.
But they’re there for one simple reason: to make sure everyone knows what to expect before your motorcycle begins its journey. So here’s the two-minute version. The Human Version of our Motorcycle Transport Terms & Conditions. Motorbike T&C. And because bicycle couriers are an aggregator in this instance. Same as for the boxed bicycle transport. It means that we use third parties for deliveries. And have to adhere to their terms. Which in turn means you must adhere to those terms.
Your bike
Please make sure your motorcycle is roadworthy, free from dangerous leaks and doesn’t contain loose items that could fall off during transport. If you’ve fitted expensive accessories, it’s a good idea to mention them when booking.
Collection and delivery
We’ll always do our best to collect and deliver on the agreed dates. Sometimes, however, traffic, weather, mechanical issues or other unexpected events can cause delays. If that happens, we’ll keep everyone informed.
Someone needs to be there
Please make sure someone is available when we collect and deliver your motorcycle. If our driver arrives and nobody is there, or the bike isn’t ready, additional charges may apply for the wasted trip.
Fuel
There’s no need to fill the tank. In fact, less fuel is better. Around a quarter tank is more than enough for loading and unloading.
Documentation
If your motorcycle needs registration papers, proof of ownership or any other documentation, please have these ready before collection. It helps avoid delays.
Existing damage
We’ll inspect the motorcycle when we collect it and note any existing scratches, dents or other damage. That way everyone knows exactly what condition it was in before transport.
Insurance
Your motorcycle is transported under the terms of the carrier’s insurance. Like most transport companies, there are limits, conditions and exclusions, so it’s worth taking a few minutes to understand what is and isn’t covered.
Things we can’t control
Road closures, bad weather, accidents, strikes and other unexpected events occasionally happen. While we do everything possible to keep your bike moving, some delays are simply outside anyone’s control.
Our promise
We’ll treat your motorcycle with the same care and respect we’d expect for our own. Thousands of motorcycles are transported safely every year, and our goal is always a smooth, professional experience from collection to delivery.
*Well done: you made it to the end of our Motorbike T&C…
Over to you
The full Motorbike T&C are still and will always be available if you’d like to read every detail. This page is simply the plain English version to help explain what they’re all about. PS, Good Terms & Conditions don’t exist because we expect problems. They exist because we plan ahead so that, if something unexpected does happen, everyone already knows how it will be handled.
