Explore the flowers on a bicycle tour
We love a success story… And recently we’ve been sending more and more bicycles up towards Springbok, Okiep, Nbabeep and Namakwaland for the sublime flower bicycle tours presented by Trisport. Founders Hano and Sonja Otto must have a winning recipe here, as we are collecting bicycles from all over South Africa and sending them to the Northern Cape for flower season. And everyone comes back with a smile and only good things to say about the tours.
Having grown up in Clanwilliam during primary school years, I have a soft spot for that valley and absolutely love every opportunity we have to cycle in that part of the world. oh, and don’t be fooled, when you’re cycling on the N7 from Citrusdal to Clanwilliam there’s a fair amount of climbing, even more so than when coming from Piketberg up the Piekenierskloof pass.
