Good news: Bicycle Couriers prices stay the same
What does it cost to send your bicycle via courier for transport? No more fluctuating prices for bicycle delivery services in Southern Africa. At the start of the year, we kept our prices the same for 2024, namely R699 for main center bicycle delivery to/from a shop, R749 for door-to-door bicycle deliveries, and R999 for bicycle deliveries to or from any remote area in the country. This happened while fuel prices were on the up, but our own growth and increased volumes justified stable prices and this benefits you, our loyal customers.
What happened to the petrol price? And the diesel price?
Good news for sending bicycles, and pretty much anything else via road freight. Businesstech says from bad to great for petrol prices in South Africa as IOL confirms there is more fuel price relief predicted for September because and News24 confirms that there are diesel, petrol price cuts on the cards for September. TLDR: in short, without looking, if I remember correctly the fuel price have gone up around R3 from January and then dropped back to similar levels now. And I can see it in my waybills coming through for sending bicycles, are they are lower with the fuel surcharge.
