Thanks to a friendly bicycle courier patron we shared updated store hours for TREK Wolwespruit. And after sending bikes to and from this particular outlet we also shared their W2W Wines-2-Whales bike service packages and bicycle transport to and from the event. I’ve seen so many familiar names on the CYCLES UNITED umbrella that I asked the question: from how many Cycles United bicycle stores in SA have we collected from or delivered to before? RACE-focused partners of ours
Are these partners of bicycle couriers or competition to bicycle couriers? It is a small industry. And everyone knows each other. And we refer to and from where necessary. So, I like to think of everyone listed here as partners of bicycle couriers. Here are five of these traditional bicycle transporters that use specialized bicycle trailers to send a bicycle as is to the start line of a race. But only the large ones that justify sending a dedicated vehicle there. So there certain events that will be excluded, and certainly all the small and niche events in the far corners of the country with the critical mass to make it work.
Anyway, I’ve been in contact and sending back and forth with the new owner of the company I started almost 8 years ago and long since sold: MMB, or move my bicycle.
