The extra mile
When the going gets tough the bicycle couriers team gets tougher. I am really proud of our our team handled this situation. Which should not have existed in the first place. But is is life. I have always wondered about the watts and have now finally gone and had a look. At how much I produce. And how it compares. And this is a clear indication of the potential. Life is short and we have to make to most of it. Which is why I dreamt up the next 12 adventures for me. For the next 12 months. And beyond. Because one carrot leads to the next. Ah now this is something to look forward to. A bicycle. And a friend. And a long weekend. For the long vast hot gravel road to BFN. Bloemfontein here we come. W2W
A day by day and blow by blow account of the 3 days in the W2W this year. chardonnay? Nope. Pinotage? Nope. Shiraz? Yes please! Again and again. This is what we did. And what the pros did. And I am very happy with how we finished. To the moon and beyond! (OR maybe just from Benguela via Grabouw and Elgin and Vergelegen to finish in Lourensford). And beyond. Fun in the sun? more like fun under the best possible we could have asked for on my very first W2W experience. Man, this was such a cool event. Perfect trails. Perfect everything. Except for perfect health. But this too shall pass. And I am very much looking forward to see how we will do next year.
