Bicycle HOW-TO’s and cycling transport SOLVED
We love talking cycling shop and an obvious place to start before sending your bicycle across the country is with SOLVED: How to assemble a boxed bicycle. Cycling events discussed by Bicycle Couriers
Bicycle couriers love supporting good causes and we helped to raise awareness for Ernest & Marinda cycling 1000 miles to raise R1 million for the Guild Cottage. Then came the notorious month of March for cycling in the Western Cape Winelands and it was time to Send your MTB to+from the ABSA Cape Epic!. After the MTB dust subsided we waited until the month of May for our CYCLE ROUTE overview: 1200kms Audax through the Western Cape! And what a ride that one turned out to be – for both our local and international guests.
I through I knew all the local cycling events but was surprised to receive a boxed bicycle transport booking to the TOUR DE KRIGE: An exquisite 3-day MTB tour with Springbok captain Corné Krige! And henceforth we will deliver bicycle to their tours whenever there is a need. We love sending bikes so niche events as these are typically not covered by the ‘traditional’ bicycle transporters. Next up was my very own cycling trip and I shared how to handle Bicycle transport during the Transcontinental Bike Race #TCRNo10. After returning from Istanbul it was most topical receiving bicycle transport enquiries for same, in Flying with your bicycle, eg: to the IRONMAN® in Turkey. Cycling competitions this year
It started with a chance to WIN: Mason rides the ABSA Cape Epic for little CHD hearts. And then we got thinking. In the long run every business needs an exit strategy. In the short run we are still growing and loving what we are doing ie delivery bicycles across South Africa every single weekday. So while it may not be the time right now, there will be a day when we are ready to sell the company and move on the the next adventure. Hence the title MARKETPLACE: Are we thinking of selling bicyclecouriers.co.za? PLUS, it looks like we’ll be delivery another SA Dream Bike this year for the community based mental health outreach via mountain biking for Pedalproject.co.za.
Bicycle shops to and from where we send bicycles
At Bicycle Couriers we collect and deliver bicycles to all parts of Southern Africa and beyond. Including the more remote locations.
